Sis, your life is worth fighting for. Jesus is calling for you. You may be hurting deep inside, but my God came to give you life. You think no one cares so you just sit there. I’m talking to you, get up. The world is waiting for you. You have purpose. You’re not an accident. Your birth was intentional. Is it alright if I just come out and say it? You’re worth fighting for. There isn’t a need for a hook or catchy introduction. You’ve been on lock down and God holds the key.
Here, let me dust you off….walk with me.
My husband asked me why I don’t take naps. He always ask me, “You’re not exhausted?” Without a doubt I get tired, but I constantly think about a time when my energy was depleted. When getting out of bed was a victory. A time when I cried every day. When I would constantly shake. A time when seeing the world scared me. I told my husband I don’t nap because I missed so much of life. I was locked up on the inside, and now that I’m free, I don’t want to miss another second of life. Sis, if I may be completely honest…I didn’t think I was ever going to make it out. *tears* I knew people were praying for me and I thank God for the support of my mother, husband, and pastors. Without them, Lord only knows where I’d be. I’m also thankful for Brittany. She didn’t give up. Every day, she wiped off the dust and pressed her way. She realized she was worth fighting for. Her life meant something. God had plans for her. The plans He had for her were of good and not of evil. For an expected end.
Life will throw many punches sis. Trying hard to knock you out. I know it’s tough, but fight. You’re worth it. Don’t let your faith waver. Keep standing. God will give you victory. He will never leave you nor forsake you. God is with you. Every tear. Every pain. If people are a factor in your mood, evaluate who is around you and make some moves. Any baggage you’re trying to carry, let it go. Any bitterness you’re holding, forgive. You’re more than conqueror. You can’t lose. You’re a winner.
Sis, if it hadn’t been for the pressure of life, I wouldn’t be where I am today. The pressures of life prepared me and are preparing me for greater. Know that whatever you’re going through is preparing you for much greater. Don’t give up. Don’t bow down to the enemy. Rise up. Get up. Keeping moving forward. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. What you see as dissapointments in life, God is using as preparation. Preparation for greater. Keep fighting. Keep waking up. Keep showing up. Keep smiling. Don’t give up. You’ve got what it takes. What hindered you sis will only become apart of your story. Keep running. Use the word of God to fight. Don’t let the trials of life weigh you down. Take of the spirit of heaviness and put on the garment of praise. God is making a way. Don’t stop sis, because you’re worth fighting for girl. P.S. I’m proud of you.
